How to Play It: Play checkers with two people and a board consisting of 64 squares. The board alternates between 32 black and 32 red squares. Each player begins the game with 12 colored discs. Players place their pieces on the 12 black squares closest to them. Black moves first. Players then alternate moves. Players can only move on the black squares, so pieces always move diagonally.
